I was an insanely crazy kid. For example, my celebrity crush growing up was Emmanuelle Chriqui. (I also liked Alexis Bledel.) During this time, VHS tapes were in use. I recorded every appearance from Emmanuelle, like her talk show interviews. Not only my celebrity crushes, I recorded my favorite NBA basketball player, Kobe Bryant. I did not want to miss out on his televised games, or any of his other appearances. Also, if I liked a music video, I recorded it. If I liked an artist, I tried finding out when is their upcoming TV appearance, such as musical performance on a talk show. Whenever they had pay-per-view movies for $2.99 each, I purchased and VHS recorded it. (Now, there is RedBox or Netflix.) Basically, I recorded anything I liked. Thus, I kept buying VHS tapes. (It kept piling up.) What was I thinking? I wanted to show how big of a fan I was. I believed that I had a greater chance in meeting them. (Highly, unlikely.) I never met them to this day. When I was young, I wanted to be cool. (I thought this was cool.) Yes, I still have my VHS tape collection. (They are obsolete now. Time flies.) Photo shown below. (I have more VHS tapes but it could not all fit in one picture. Non-labeled VHS tapes are Emanuelle Chriqui, Alexis Bledel, and other celebrities. I purposely non-labeled them, for the reason that, I can surprisingly rewatch them.) Currently, I will be recycling them at GreenDisk.com. (Please, do not throw them away in trash. They are very hazardous for the environment.)
I have grown up. (Now, I know what are my real priorities.) Find a lady to importantly "connect" (reality) than pursue a celebrity crush to only watch (fantasy). |
