(FYI, I wrote this post earlier today. Now, I am watching an NBA basketball game of the Golden State Warriors visiting the Los Angeles Clippers.) Last Sunday early morning, I picked up my McCafe coffee at McDonald's drive-thru. The worker asked me, "How are you?" Then, I answered, "It is freezing cold outside." (I wanted to continue answering her question, but I was reading her body language.) Obviously, she was waiting for the next customer. When I arrived to work, I parked my car then I recorded myself on Snapchat. (Showing my mood with the coffee. Video shown below.) Hi, how are you? (More like an informal greeting.) Most people expect a short answer in return, something like, "I am good."
How are you right now? Needless to say, I am writing this post on a dark, cloudy day. As I am sitting on my couch, I am listening to music from the artist, The Weeknd. (It is crazy how he has risen from up-and-coming artist to superstardom. I will write a post about him. Coming soon.) I am hungry for authentic Mexican tacos with its nachos on the side. (Not Taco Bell style. Lately, I have been cravingly eating that.) I will be on my way to buy them, once I finish writing this. According to the weather, the city of Palo Alto has a chance of rain from now until Sunday. (I was gonna get my car washed until I saw this.) As a tennis coach, the rain is my enemy. (It also loses my rhythm.) Sometimes the weather forecast is not always completely accurate. (Like a lawyer, the weatherperson gets paid to lie as well.) To this day, my blog has kept me going. (It keeps my mind focused and fresh.) This is my 33rd post and counting. A few months ago, my first ever post was released on September 19. (The post was titled, "Where Am I At Now?" I am shocked and amazed that I have written 33 posts already.) Then again, it goes with consistency. I continually enjoy writing more posts. It is part of my daily routine. I stopped writing here so I can buy myself tacos and nachos. (I release my posts whenever I feel like it. Also, I stop writing whenever I feel like it. I sound cocky and arrogant, like the former NFL player, Randy Moss, who once said, "I play when I want to play," back in 2001.) Christmas is almost narrowing in. Yes, I have already finished my Christmas shopping. (Thanks to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.) So, how are you? I am good. |
