The past is remembered. Live in the moment. The future is in you.

11) I Know I Am Old When...

  • I hate staying out late, unlike before. (I arrived home earlier this morning at midnight-ish.)
  • I just want to date and connect, first and foremost. (Gentleman seeking 1 lady.)
  • I would rather talk than text. (None of these games.)
  • My all-time celebrity crush, Emmanuelle Chriqui, is already aging.
  • I prefer to read more than play video games.
  • I enjoy writing blogs.
  • I get really sore from playing either basketball or tennis. (Must stretch before and after.)
  • My body aches the next morning.
  • I rely on a cup of coffee every morning.
  • The era of NBA great players, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett, in my generation is over. (They retired.)
  • I see a bit of wrinkles on my face. (Neglect the Snapchat filter video from above.)
  • I only go for comfortable shoes.
  • My hangover days are over.
  • In driving, I do not recklessly weave through traffic anymore.
  • I prefer driving on the slow lane, or the second one.
  • I see kids growing taller than me already. (Well, I am only standing at 5'5, and weighing at 142 lbs. Imagine famous American ring announcer, Michael Buffer, announcing this.)
  • I get cold easily.
  • I only shop for what I really need.
  • I take short naps as part of my daily routine.
  • I am slowly not getting into arguments anymore, like road rage. (I just laugh it off. I have lightened my temper than ever before. Why waste my time proving I am right?)
  • I hangout with my friends less frequently, unlike the daily hangouts from before. (We have our own priorities, like work, and we respect our schedule.)
  • I finally realize there is no stepping stone anymore, after I finished high school. (One of my good friends already told me this long time ago. Now, I know my stepping stone, and I am finally pursuing it.)
I believe this is not ageism (exclude the video from above), for the reason that, I am continually evolving, and most importantly, I accept the "change."

The list will keep on going. (Reminds me of the slogan from the battery, Energizer, "It keeps going, and going, and going...")
