Home of NBA team, Sacramento Kings, Golden 1 Center, established only on September 30, 2016. (1st time ever to set foot inside brand new arena.) Doors opened at 8pm. Concert was supposed to start at 9pm. Instead, Kanye started performing at 10:25. (I arrived to my assigned seating at 9:03. Yes, I came alone.) As I sat in my upper level seat, my close friend told me to meet him at Digital Headquarters located in front of section 125. (We have not talked in a while, due to our busy work schedule.) Digital Headquarters welcomed fans to take a picture, then it is sent to their Twitter account. (Photo below shown. My tiring eyes not looking directly at the camera.) My close friend bought me this Kanye ticket on its pre-sale day as an early Christmas gift from him to me. (Currently, he works for the Sacramento Kings as Digital Managing Editor.) 20 minutes later, I wandered off walking alone in arena. (My close friend was working.) I enjoyed drinking a $14 cup of Hop Hunter IPA beer brewed from Sierra Nevada. (Also, I added a $1 tip.) At 10:20, I saw people quickly running to their seats, for the reason that, Kanye was starting to perform. (Follow the loud music.) At 10:25, I went to my seat. ("Sorry, excuse me." I believe I was photobombing peoples' cameras.) Everybody was standing. (I like how the upper level seating is very steep, where you are a bit closer to the stage. Although, my seatmates disagreed. They were afraid that they might fall off.) Since I showed up a bit late to my seat, Kanye and his special guest, Kid Cudi, were already performing together. Surprisingly, they reunited. (It was amazing because they were enemies until this night. Video shown below.) In his show, the floating stage was very astonishing as well. Kanye and Kid Cudi showed us "love." (Possibly, Kanye realized that Kid Cudi is battling from depression.) Also, the lighting in the stage was incredible. (Video shown below. I should have recorded all my videos horizontally than vertically. Oh, well.) So far, Kanye performed his third song, "Famous," to his fans. (Video shown below.) Then, he went on ranting, lecturing, and preaching for about 10-15 minutes. He was crazily insane. (I should have continuously recorded all of its footage.) It was very amusing and entertaining. While this kept going on, the fans were whining and complaining. (I shook my head, and started laughing.) Obviously, they wanted Kanye to perform, not talk. (Heck, a fan threw his SnapBack hat to Kanye. It did not stop him anyway.) I have never seen anything like this ever before. (In my own eyes, first ever to witness a live concert like this.) I said to myself, "This is unreal. No, this is real." My close friend did say, "Kanye is unpredictable." (As I was recording, I wanted to soften my loud, ugly laugh. Lots of funny quotes. Go ahead and watch them. Video footage below of what I recorded.) Kanye commented back to his long-time friend and mentor, Jay-Z. (The beef continues on. Video shown below.) He went on continually ranting. (Video shown below.) Kanye was fed up. Guess what happens next. (Video shown below.) "Get ready, because the show is over." (Then, he dropped the mic and walked out.) Show ended at 11:01pm. (Appeared late, then ended early.) Who knows? Possibly, Kanye has been "crazy" ever since his mom passed away. (Please, Kim K do not leave him.) I can say that. Then again, amazingly, he does have a huge consistent fan base. Thanks, buddy, for the early Christmas gift. (Imagine if you bought me bowl tickets instead.) I did enjoy the show. Well, you are in luck. Breaking News: Yesterday, Ticketmaster just emailed me about the concert. (See the photo below.) I guess this does not count as an early Christmas gift then. Wait, it was a free concert as well. (Exclude the $15 cup of beer and $11.25 parking.)
Thank you, Kanye, for the free interesting concert. |
