Life hack: You must schedule a DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) appointment online (like I did), or else you will be waiting all day. Importantly, you save a huge amount of time.
For instance, this morning, I arrived to my scheduled appointment at 10:20 sharp. As I walked into DMV, there were two separate lines, scheduled appointment (via online) and walk-in. Nobody on the scheduled appointment line until I showed up (compared to walk-in line of about 50 people). Why was I at DMV anyway? My dad is at work right now. Thus, I had to register his vehicle. Also, today is my day off. As I slowly walked to my scheduled appointment line, I felt like a boss or VIP. (It almost reminded me of the time when I would easily walk through a Vegas nightclub, even though I was only wearing a hooded-sweater, sweatpants, and basketball shoes. Courtesy from my good friend, who used to work in Vegas at that time.) A few seconds later, the front desk person called me. (Just like that. Yuh, I just beat 50 people.) The vehicle was approved and registered. What time is it now? 10:33 AM. (13 minutes later.) My appointment is over. Again, I walked out as a boss or VIP, while I saw the very long walk-in line. (I sound like a douchebag.) One life hack discovered as I continue to search for more. |
