Golden State Warriors have a $5 open practice on Wednesday, October 12. Today, tickets go on sale at 10 AM. I was online right on the dot. (I sound like the artist, Usher, from his song, "Nice & Slow." He sings, "It's seven o'clock on the dot..") I should have no problem finding a ticket on Warriors.com, since I am buying only one ticket for myself. (There I go on with assuming things.) Why did I title my post, "My Greediness?" As I am in front of my PC, I selected the "Best Available" seat, then I was dissatisfied about it. Therefore, I kept pressing the refresh button, until I get a better seat. I completely forced the issue. (I pressed it, like 100 times or so. Actually, 10 times. I was being sarcastic.) Then, the screen appeared reading, "We were unable to process your request. Try again later." (I pressed a refresh button a few times, and it did nothing.) 10 minutes later, I had to try something different. (Time flies. Under time pressure, I had to think, like the mastermind TV series character, MacGyver.) I gave up on my PC. Instead, I used my phone. It actually worked. (My PC and my phone were both networked from the same Wi-Fi at that time.) I selected the "Best Available" seat, and low and behold, it gave me a seat. (I am not playing with that refresh button anymore. Obviously, tickets are narrowing down by now. Lesson learned.) Then, I went on to proceed. I had to pay using Ticketmaster.com. I did not remember my password. (It shows how I have not been to a concert or event in a while. Do not count the free, amazing concert from Air Supply.) It took another 8 minutes to resolve the issue. Surprisingly, the ticket was still on hold for me. (Lucky) Purchased. Be happy with what you got. (Yuh) It dished me a dime... (10 cents more)
