22) My Only One Night Stay Using Airbnb

Last night, I slept at a decent Airbnb spot, where it was only 2.5 miles away from my work. (By the way, Airbnb is a phone app, where you can rent a temporary spot to live in from a property owner.)

It was a hostel startup spot. (Few months ago, I went on a 2-week Eurotrip but I did not experience the hostels yet.)
First of all, why did I rent an Airbnb spot?

Because I did not want to drive back home from Vallejo. (It is 63 miles away.) My work gets busy in the weekends. Also, I wanted to be well-rested in looking for an open room rental nearby my work.

Why did I rent Airbnb for only one night?

Because I have to pick up my Uncle from SFO airport. This was already planned out before I got this new, recent job.

(Right now, I am waiting for him. I am at my usual park and wait area, Shell gas station, on Grand Avenue exit. Few miles away from airport.)

Last night from the Airbnb spot, I was the last person to check-in at 8:30ish. Like the host, the guests were very welcoming as well.

I met an 18-year old guy, who just moved out of Washington DC to start a new life. For the first time ever, he arrived in California few days ago.

I met another man from Brazil. Yesterday, he arrived in California. His main priority in vacationing here is to visit Google headquarters.

This Monday, I will be their tour guide.

(In this hostel startup, I was not able to find a place nearby my work. Instead, I enjoyed meeting new people at the Airbnb spot. I do not regret it.)

Importantly, I must find a spot as soon as possible.
