My friend recommended me a book, Choose Yourself, written by James Altucher. (My first blog post, "Where Am I At Now?" was published on Monday, September 19, 2016.) What is the book about? You choose your life. Try something different. Every day, continue to jot down many creative ideas that you have never done before, such as this blog, then take your pick and do it. (Get out of your nutshell.) Start being uncomfortable. (To this day, I did not expect that I would be still blogging.) Keep taking risks. If you fail, what matters is you at least tried. If you hate it, try something different. Importantly, you will never regret it later in life. Again, you choose your life. No one is stopping you but yourself. This book has given me a clear understanding about failure.
What do you mean? Once you fail, it is not the end of the world. (Do not be afraid to take risks, or else you will never change.) Why I am not afraid of failure as much as before? I am taking more risks than ever before. (Be the person who you want to be.) Why continue blogging? It keeps me going. It keeps my mind fresh and focused, like drinking a cup of black coffee every morning. Most importantly, I enjoy writing every blog posts. (Go with what makes you happy.) Have you had any struggles in blogging? Surprisingly not, I always have something to write about at the top of my head. Thank you, James Altucher, for inspiring me to start on this blog. |
